Short Review: Double Crossed: A Spies and Thieves Story by Ally Carter

This was just a super fun read! I already love the characters, but it was kind of fun to see them play different roles and be thrown together when they're from different series. They find a type of camaraderie rather quickly, probably because they are from similar worlds. Both are separated from their crews and they have to figure out things mostly on their own. They have no choice, when they are faced with armed men holding their group hostage.

I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in both series!

  1. Hiya! I'm stopping over from Jen's blog.

I would fix that widget in the top left. It blocks your post.

    welcome to blogging!

    1. Thanks, Eliza! My sister said the same thing about the widget and I made it skinnier, but I think I'll just have to move it to the top so it won't be in the way. Jen is awesome! So nice for you to stop over. :)

  3. Do I need to read the other books in the series before this one?

    1. No, you don't need to read the other books first. Besides the fact that its free, so why not try it? I would say that this is a great intro/teaser to both series. I highly recommend both series though. They are fabulous and each book has gotten better. I think it's because you get to see the characters mature and change as they get a little older and face tougher challenges. Let me know what you think if you read it.

    1. I really love her! I would say that her Gallagher girls was for a younger audience at first, but now her characters are growing and the subject matter and relationships have changed accordingly (still YA of course). The Heist Society series hasn't developed as much that way, but still has developed as well. I listened to the audio recordings on a lot of the books and it was fabulous. Lots of witty comments and lol moments, but some suspense too. Very fun!
