Bout of Books Read-a-thon Wrap Up

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 19th and runs through Sunday, August 25th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 8.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.

Wrap Up

Books finished: Tuesdays at the Castle, The Distance Between Us, Shadowfell, Truth or Date, and Raven Flight
Books read parts of: Ten Tiny Breaths (read 50+ pages and DNF), Wish Me Tomorrow (15% through), and Doon (read 34 pages so far)

My goal was to read eight books. I finished five and read parts of three more. I didn't quite meet my goal, but I still got some good reading done. :)

Now, I'll be finishing what I've started, reading my book tour books, writing reviews, working on my Netgally Knockout, and preparing for the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon. Hopefully I'll be able to continue reading around four or more books each week, which is easier with the kids in school. :)
