Bout of Books Goals

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 9.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

UPDATE: I had a really busy week, so I definitely didin't get as much reading done as I would have liked. Not even close. I also missed going around to the other participants and trying the challenges. Here's my entire week:

Monday: I was hoping to get a lot read today. I basically only read about 30% of Being Sloane Jacobs, which I was supposed to have finished yesterday before the read-a-thon began. I also started Poison Princess, but only have read a few chapters. That's okay though. I'm planning on getting a lot more reading in as the week goes on. I didn't get to the challenges today either, but am planning on doing that tomorrow as well.

Here are my goals and what I'd like to read during this read-a-thon:

GOALS AND BOOKS-TO-READ

Books to Read
So, I was looking to see what I need to get read and realized that I've got some eARCs that will be expiring soon and then some books for review/tours that I need to read. Those will be the books I'll be focusing on. Here they are:

A Creature of Moonlight Buzz Kill Love Letters to the Dead
Sekret (Sekret, #1) The Art of Secrets The Summer of Letting Go Tin Star
Witch Song (Witch Song, #1) Witch Born (Witch Song, #2) Witch Rising (Witch Song #2.5)
Witch Fall (Witch Song, #3) The One Safe Place

Time Devoted to Reading

I'm planning on reading every day. If I can get one book finished every day, that would be fabulous!

My Goal

My goal is to get five of these books read. Ideally I'd like seven (two a day for all 14 would be really great!!!), but I'm going to try to be realistic here. Wish me luck!
