Character Interview

Thanks for taking the time away from your crazy life to stop by my blog today, Riley!

Sure, no prob! Thanks for having me.

1. I was super excited to get my license to drive when I was sixteen. What do you love most about being sixteen?

Well, I wish I could say driving, but I haven’t even gotten to take driver’s ed yet, thanks to my freakily paranoid parents. Really, being sixteen doesn’t feel very different from fifteen—my parents still treat me like a baby!

Hmm. I'm trying to remember if I felt that way too at 16...I think I more felt like I got jilted sometimes because of rules. Perspective changes when you get older. :)

2. What do you stress out about?

Well… I’m stressing about who Jane O’Leary is…and about this guy—I kind of feel like he’s following me. But I think I’m just being paranoid…right? And I have a giant zit on my forehead that I'm pretty sure is bruising my brain.

Lol! Not that!!

3. Do you have any embarrassing or humorous stories you could share with us?

Oh my gosh, are you serious? Well, how about having a panic attack in the arms of onest of the hottest guys in school? Talk about embarrassing! I tried to claw my way out of a bathroom window!

That is really embarrassing! I have nothing to even compare.

4. What is your favorite thing to do?

I love hanging out with my BFF Shelby—especially at her house. She's got candy and Us Magazine. My house is stocked with National Geographic and kale chips. Nast.

BFFs are the best!

5. Do you have a favorite song, singer, or band?

OMGGGGGG!!! I’m a huge Death to Sea Monkeys fan! They’re a pretty local band but they are like, amazeballs! Shelby and I are constantly screaming along to all their songs.

6. Do you like to read, and if so, what’s your favorite book?

I looove to read, especially romance. I pretty much love anything by Marni Bates or Brigid Kemmerer. Have you read Awkward? I laughed my butt off for days. And the Elemental series has the best eye candy. #yummyboys!

Awkward (Smith High, #1) Spark (Elemental, #2)

Umm. Yes. I am a happily married 30+ year-old woman, but I would have to agree on the eye candy from The Elemental Series, especially Gabriel. *sigh*

9. What was your first thought when you found the birth certificate for Jane?

I guess I didn’t really think anything about it until Shelby wouldn’t let up on it. Then…I just couldn’t get it off my mind. It was too weird. Why would my parents have that?

Yes, indeed. Why would they???

10. Without spoiling your story, did you think it would lead you to where it has?

Seriously, no way! Like, that didn’t even cross my mind!

I hope readers enjoy getting to know you more in See Jane Run. Thanks, again, for stopping by, Riley!
