My Review

This is such a fun cookbook! If you're looking for super intricate recipes, this is not the one to grab. However, if you're looking for fun, easy, family-friendly, ideas, and new recipes to try then this is the cookbook for you. I actually had my kids look through it and pick one night during Spring Break that they got to choose what we would have for dinner. They loved looking through all the recipes and picking the menu! We had a great time!

There are some things that I just loved about this cookbook. I loved that basically every recipe has a picture! This especially was great when working with my kids. I also loved that everything was organized into menus. We didn't always stick with the complete menu, but it was nice to already have recipes that would compliment each other be grouped together. The other thing I loved was that there is such a huge variety. You could definitely use this cookbook over and over again and not get tired of what you're eating.

Crunchy+Black+Bean+Taco+Recipe[1]

We tried several recipes. Some of the ones my kids loved were the Turkey Meatball Subs with Baked Zucchini Fries, Aloha Burgers with Restaurant-Style Onion Rings and Fluffy Fruit Dip, Crispy Onion Chicken with Scalloped Potatoes. We also loved the BLT Salad, Korean Beef and Rice, and others. I'm planning on continuing to use this cookbook and try new recipes out on my family to see which will be favorites in our home.

It has been so nice to add a variety of recipes to our dinners. There is just so much to choose from: recipes that are super easy that kids would love, to recipes that take a little more time and could be served for Sunday dinner with guests. I would definintely recommend this cookbook to families and those that want some easy recipes and variety to mix up their palate. It has been a great addition to my shelf of cookbooks.

  27. Me too. I'm just curious what it's about. An assassin? A murderer? You do like scary, so you might like this one if it ends up going that way.
