Monthly Giveaway for July: Signed Paperback of Reached by Ally Condie

I realized tonight that it is a new month. Of course I knew that, but I didn't quite make the connection to my monthly giveaway. ;) So, I have been stocking up some giveaway books and this month I picked a signed copy of Reached by Ally Condie. This will be open to US residents only due to shipping (sorry international followers).
Reached (Matched, #3)

I got to meet Ally in person last month at my local bookstore and I can honestly say that it was such a pleasure! She was fun and interesting and it was just great to meet and chat with her. I have really enjoyed her books and I'm excited about her new book, which she talked about as well, called Atlantia, which I've already pre-ordered. :)

You have until July 31st to enter. Good luck!

  9. I've seen this one pop up on a few blogs now. It definitely sounds interesting and I am really really looking forward to its release. I never stopped loving books about magic, and I agree I always love a story with a lore feeling to it. Plus the cover for this one is just awesome!

  15. It's always so exciting to meet an author!

  16. Lol! I don't get as much sleep as I should. ;) Well, that's only partly true. I also listen to them a lot while I'm cleaning house and on the computer (like I'm listening to one right now). I'm also a fast reader. Sometimes I can get a book read, especially if it is 200 - 300 pages, in one day. And I can listen to them a lot because I'm a stay-at-home mom. The kids have been keeping me busy this summer though, but it's a good and fun busy. :D

  17. I was thinking of him being in a different type of cage as well - one dictated by the society for his status.

  18. It is disturbing, but I'm sure that was the point to an extent. I saw you read it, but haven't made it over to read your review. I'm hoping to rectify that tonight. :)

  19. I really do like the cover as well. I think it really fits the story - caged perfection.

  20. That's really odd. It's popping right up for me. Let me know if you're still having issues. You may want to try deleting your internet cookies too.

  22. It sounds like a little bit of a different approach plot-wise for this type of story, whihc I like, so I'm hoping it won't disappoint.

  25. It matches the book's title and I think the knot that looks like a heart is kind of cute.

  26. It has been around, but it's still one I'm excited for. I'll be over...

  29. They're very Dystopian, but very good (and fairly clean). The story was really great at pulling emotions from me, and you know a book is good when it can do that. I hope you like them if you get the chance to read the series!

  30. It is and she was lovely! She was there to promote this third book, so that's why this is the one up for grabs. I really wanted to get the whole series and have them signed and then give that away (wouldn't THAT be AWESOME?!!), but I about killed my book budget in May, so oh well.

  34. I was hoping I might see you there. I'm sorry you forgot!! It was great! I told her she has to come again. :)

  35. Hey, at least I only picked one this week instead of two books. ;)
