September is for Sequels Challenge

It's not like I need more challenges to join. Really. However, I do have a long list of sequels I've been meaning and trying to read and just haven't gotten to them and I'm still dying to find out what happens next and how they end. I also joined the 2014 Series Challenge and haven't met my goal yet for that. So, I really need to join this challenge!!

The September is for Sequels challenge is hosted by Lisa Loves Literature and runs for the entire month of September. (You can sign up here.) I like that I only have to read a minimum of four books to participate, so at least one per week. Easy, peasy.

UPDATE: These are the books I've read so far (I will link the covers to their reviews when they've posted):
Split Second (Pivot Point, #2) Champion (Legend, #3) Remember Me (Find Me, #2) Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky, #3)
Reign of Shadows (Descendants #3) The Book of Life (All Souls Trilogy, #3) Tide to Atonement (Pawleys Island Paradise, #2) Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3)

My goal is to read at least four books, although really I'm hoping to get eight in there. Here are all the books I'll be choosing from (I may add others) because they are all series sequels that I need to read, but I definitely won't get them all read:
Star Cursed (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #2) Sisters' Fate (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #3) The Fall of Five (Lorien Legacies, #4) Dreams of Gods & Monsters (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #3)
In the End (In the After, #2) Allegiant (Divergent, #3) Deception (Defiance, #2) Deliverance (Defiance, #3)
Infinite (Newsoul, #3) Champion (Legend, #3) Rapture (Fallen, #4) Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3)
Wednesdays in the Tower (Castle Glower #2) Thursdays with the Crown (Castle Glower, #3) Fair Play (It Happened at the Fair, #2) Boundless (Unearthly, #3)
The Caller (Shadowfell, #3) The Enchanter Heir (The Heir Chronicles, #4) Remember Me (Find Me, #2) Destined for Doon (Doon, #2)

Mortal Heart (His Fair Assassin, #3) Split Second (Pivot Point, #2) Of Neptune (The Syrena Legacy, #3) Sweet Reckoning (The Sweet Trilogy, #3)
Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky, #3) Sacrifice (Elemental, #5) Thornhill (Hemlock, #2) Sinner (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #4)

Death by the Book (Drew Farthering Mystery #2) Murder at the Mikado (Drew Farthing Mystery, #3) The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden, #2) The Forever Song (Blood of Eden, #3)
Unhinged (Splintered, #2) The Girl in the Clockwork Collar (Steampunk Chronicles, #2) The Girl with the Iron Touch (The Steampunk Chronicles, #3) The Girl with the Windup Heart (Steampunk Chronicles, #4)
Emma, Mr. Knightley, and Chili-Slaw Dogs (Austen Takes the South #2) Persuasion, Captain Wentworth and Cracklin' Cornbread (Jane Austen Takes the South, #3) The Dark Shore (The Atlanteans, #2) The Far Dawn (The Atlanteans, #3)
In a Handful of Dust (Not a Drop to Drink, #2) The Perilous Sea (The Elemental Trilogy, #2) Reign of Shadows (Descendants #3) Curtsies & Conspiracies (Finishing School, #2)

Now I have a couple of weeks to get ahead on other reading so that hopefully I can get a lot of these read in September for the challenge. I'll be hosting the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon as well, so hopefully September will be a huge reading month for me! Wish me luck! :)
