Album Sampler

My Review

I don't listen to inspirational pop music on a regular basis. I tend to lean towards mainstream music and lighter inspirational music. I signed up for this tour because when I listened to the sampler and the video I really liked what I heard. It sounded like quite a few of the songs I currently have on my mp3 player. Now that I've listened to the whole album, I have to say that this album changed my mind about this type of music.

There wasn't a single song that I didn't like. They were all fun, songs I could sing to, and inspirational. Some of them sounded a little like Colbie Callait, such as Today, which I loved, and Scatter Sunshine. Some of the songs also reminded me of Hilary Weeks, who I love, such as Eyes to See. Then there was the gorgeous strings added to I Am Divine and the slight rock edge. One of my favorites was Storm Before the Calm, which is the song featured in the music video below. I also really loved Good for the Soul and It's Okay to Be Happy. My favorite was Waiting for My Rainbow. I loved it!!

Stephanie's songs have all been added to my playlist. I really love the way the songs sounded. Stephanie has a gorgeous voice, with great harmonizing, and the quality of the recording was fabulous! I've already listened to the album multiple times and am planning on continuing to continue to do so.

I would definitely recommend this to teens and us adults who enjoy this type of music, that is poppy and inspirational. A couple of these songs would also be appropriate for church.
