Debut Author Challenge 2013

This is the third year I will be participating in the Debut Author Challenge. You can find the challenge information here at Hobbitsies' blog.

I am required to read twelve books from debut authors in the Juvenile and YA categories and have added 35 possible books to my list so far. I will be keeping the books I have added to my to-read pile and those that have been read for this challenge on my Goodreads page here. I will also post updates periodically and will note if a book I review is part of the challenge.

I read some really great debut authors last year that I normally might not have read if initially not for the challenge. Here are some of those:

I'm excited to find some more great new authors this year!

UPDATE: 2013 has ended. How did I do? Well, maybe not as good as I'd hoped, but I still met my goal of twelve, barely, at thirteen. Here are the debuts I read (as far as I know):

Splintered
The Art of Wishing
The Collector
Etiquette & Espionage
City of a Thousand Dolls
Enchantress
Strands of Bronze and Gold
In the After
Mila 2.0
Find Me
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
Six Months Later
These Broken Stars

You can see all the info on the books as well as my reviews by going to my specific Goodreads page.

    1. Thanks, Jen! I have signed up for other challenges in the past, but this is my favorite and the one I've had the best results with. :)

I wouldn't mind doing that challenge as well. I have been reading like crazy lately. Ah, who am I kidding? I read like that all the time! :)
