My Review

I CAN LOVE LIKE JESUS is an adorable book full of applicable ways that children can be examples of Jesus in how He loved. The illustrations were fun, fit the text well, and grabbed the interest of my children. The text was easy to find, read, and understand, and paired well with the illustrations. The text also is inspiring and easily applicable to everyday life. If you're looking for something to help your children (and even us adults) think more about their actions and being an example of Christ, this book is perfect. Definitely worth gifting or grabbing for your own bookshelf!

We really enjoyed reading this book together as a family. My kids loved the illustrations and even found a few hidden gems. We had just talked about how we can make our home more like heaven and be better examples and this book was perfect for helping the kids think about some easy ways they can do that and things that made sense to them—that they could easily comprehension and then apply.

There is only one page that is specific to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but nothing that those of other faiths wouldn't understand or agree with. Otherwise, references are all biblical.

In the end, was it what I wished for? This was such a pleasure to read and so helpful. Definitely a book we plan on reading again and would gift as well.
