Weekly Update #242, in which December has arrived...

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week!

I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

It's so crazy to me that it's already the beginning of December! This morning we got our first taste of winter. We've been unseasonably warm, like 10+ degrees higher than normal. This morning was a little drizzly and had a cold wind, so we froze a little at our 8 am soccer games for the kiddos. We won't see actual winterish weather though until later this week.

I finished pretty much all my Christmas shopping. I might get one more thing for my husband and he has his parents to do, but otherwise we're through. Yay! Now I need to get our Christmas cards mailed out and then I'll be baking cinnamon rolls this year to give to friends and neighbors. Do you guy do something specific each year like that or does it change each year?

This past week was really busy, but this coming week will slow down a little. I'm looking forward to my upcoming reads and then trying to get some good reading in sitting by the lit Christmas tree.

These are the books you'll be seeing:

A Promise for Tomorrow (Hearthfire Scottish Historical, #2)Of Bells and Thorns
Brush with LoveThe Gentleman's DeceptionThe Truth Beneath the Lies

There is no monthly giveaway this month, again, because I'm participating in some giveaway hops. There is also a giveaway for 2017 Debut Authors Bash for a coy of Last Star Burning, which I loved. Then you should check out two events for the 12 Days of Christmas that have some awesome giveaways that I'll be participating just about every day in. Here they all are:

I've been hosting a meme this year called Can't-Wait Wednesday that is taking over for my Waiting on Wednesday posts since the host, Jill over at Breaking the Spine, went inactive in August 2016. You're welcome to join in or link up your Waiting on Wednesday posts each week. Find out more here.

In case you missed any of these over the past week...

How is your December going so far?
