You can see how I'm doing so far for this read-a-thon here.
UPDATE: I was tired when I did this and was thinking this was a different challenge when I signed up, so instead of Spine Poetry (where you take several books and use them for a poem) this is really an Acrostic Poem Challenge (where you take each letter of a book title and use it for each line of a poem). Sorry for the confusion!
So, a while ago I participated in another read-a-thon and one of my favorite challenges was the Acrostic Poem Book Challenge. I decided to choose that for my challenge for this one. I didn't have time to do a new poem, so I'm using the one I used for the prior challenge. It's nothing great, but I had fun doing it. Here is your example:
Now it doesn't need to be anything too fancy or take a ton of time. You can use a picture, you can make a graphic, or you can just state what book you're using and go from there. This is what you need to do:
- Pick a book (must have four words or less in the title)
- Write some sort of lines or poem using each letter of the title
- Now you can either post it somewhere you can link to or leave your poem in comments below. Either way you need to leave a link to your poem or the poem itself in comments below along with the book's title and author.
- Enter the giveaway via the Rafflecopter below
