Summary

“You’ve done better.”

With one uncharacteristically sassy tweet to her longtime celebrity crush, Zoe Miller’s life turns upside down. Ultra hot A-lister Chase Covington doesn’t just respond to Zoe’s tweet, he does the unthinkable: he messages Zoe directly. Now she must decide between walking away or meeting her crush in person.

Chase knows better than to trust anyone from the Internet, but Zoe’s saucy challenge has totally caught his interest—and her girl-next-door personality is keeping it. He’s been burned enough to know he needs to keep his heart close. But his feelings for Zoe might be a lot more than just an online flirtation. He just has to convince her…

When the press gets wind of Zoe and Chase’s secret relationship, their romance turns into tabloid headlines. Will they be able to hold on to their Hollywood love story?

My Review

#STARSTRUCK is one fantastic ride of friendship, heart, and romance with a little help from Twitter. The characters are fun and easy to fall in love with. The chemistry is off the charts, on the clean side, but with some heat. A highly enjoyable and engrossing romance from beginning to end. Highly recommended to romance readers!

I flew through this story! I thought it was a lot shorter than it was because I just sped through it. It started off so fun with some tweets exchanged and the protagonist's best friend thinking she'd scored a shot with the guy of their dreams. I loved the characters and the overall voice of the story. I also loved the premise with the plain-er girl (she's gorgeous, but she thinks her best friend is so much more and always gets the guys) getting the drop-dead celebrity. I liked the discussion about where the relationship was going to go and not go and that both characters had reactions that felt natural. I also loved the humor! There's quite a bit of it and some of it was mixed with the romance rather well, like the The Board. Oh my gosh! So great! I was dying laughing while blushing. The chemistry... swooning, anyone? The ending was super sweet. Was it completely realistic. Nah. But that's why I read to dream a little and enjoy some laughs and sighs (at least in this case). I will tell you what it was though. It was was 100% enjoyable.

In the end, was it what I wished for? I loved reading #Startruck! If you're in the mood for good romance that is still clean, but has some great chemistry, then definitely grab this one.

Content: Clean, but on the steamy side.

About the Author

Bestselling author Sariah Wilson has never jumped out of an airplane, never climbed Mount Everest, and is not a former CIA operative. She has, however, been madly, passionately in love with her soul mate and is a fervent believer in happily ever afters—which is why she writes romance. She grew up in Southern California, graduated from Brigham Young University (go Cougars!) with a semi-useless degree in history, and is the oldest of nine (yes, nine) children. She currently lives with the aforementioned soul mate and their four children in Utah, along with three tiger barb fish, a cat named Tiger, and a recently departed hamster that is buried in the backyard (and has nothing at all to do with tigers).
