Weekly Update #395, the end of a long weekend...

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I share what's been going on and what's coming up!

I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving, if you're in the US. We debated back and forth on being with family, but ended up going up to the mountains to be with my parents and my sister's family. It was small and we were only together a handful of hours. It was still risky, but my parents have been very isolated and it's the longest we've gone without seeing them. They were a bit emotional when we all left so I feel like it was what good that we went.

I think each of use just has to do what is right for our own circumstances and families. We are very careful and were tested before we went up (all negative). It is just such a crazy and uncertain time! I feel like treasuring loved ones and being kind are both really important right now. I'm actually sad that the long weekend is just about over. We've enjoyed being a bit more relaxed, which has allowed me to get some things done and to spend some good quality time with my husband and kids.

I hope you're ready for December coming this week. Just a month from Christmas! Eek!

This Week

Things of Note

December includes two of my favorite events to organize and share.

One is a fantasy and sci-fi event that just started (if you're a blogger or bookstagrammer and want to participate in sharing any of the posts - launch here - email me here and I'll send the HTMLs and info).

Next week starts the clean romance event (if you're a blogger or bookstagrammer, sign up here to share this event - you can pick and choose which posts you share).

These events are great because I generally love the books and when the holidays are so busy, these are so easy to post and fill any holes I have in my schedule. I'll have some awesome books to share each day all the way up to Christmas!
