My Review

THE TELLING TOUCH is a Regency romance with a bit of a paranormal twist. It has delightful characters, an engaging plot, and a sweet romance. Highly recommended to fans of sweet and clean Regency romance with plenty of fun banter and a few twists!

This is the first book I've read from this author, but I plan to read the book before this one, which is already waiting for me, as well as read the next book in the series as I loved this book so much! I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I began reading this, but I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. The characters were complex, easy to relate to, and so much fun! Plus there was a bit of a twist in relation to these sisters. The villain was a bit unexpected at first and the author did a great job in making me really, really dislike her. I didn't feel like any of the characters fell flat. The romance was delightful, with plenty of chemistry. I also liked that as a reader you figure things out a bit along with the main character. There was almost a constant undertone of danger that just continued to build as the story reached its end. And what a fantastic end it was!

In the end, was it what I wished for? Wonderful characters and a page-turning plot makes this a very entertaining read. If you like clean Regency romances with paranormal twists, then I'd highly recommend this one! I'm looking forward to more from this author!
