Goodreads  summary:
Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the fifth were born to lead completely different lives: Kat comes from a long, proud line of loveable criminal masterminds, while Hale is the scion of one of the most seemingly perfect dynasties in the world. If their families have one thing in common, it's that they both know how to stay under the radar while getting-or stealing-whatever they want. No matter the risk, the Bishops can always be counted on, but in Hale's family, all bets are off when money is on the line. When Hale unexpectedly inherits his grandmother's billion dollar corporation, he quickly learns that there's no place for Kat and their old heists in his new role. But Kat won't let him go that easily, especially after she gets tipped off that his grandmother's will might have been altered in an elaborate con to steal the company's fortune. So instead of being the heir-this time, Hale might be the mark. Forced to keep a level head as she and her crew fight for one of their own, Kat comes up with an ambitious and far-reaching plan that only the Bishop family would dare attempt. To pull it off, Kat is prepared to do the impossible, but first, she has to decide if she's willing to save her boyfriend's company if it means losing the boy.

What I thought:
I have loved both of Ally Carter's series - this one and the Gallagher Girls! So, I had very high expectations going in. From the first page, I loved this book! Carter's characters feel like old friends to me. I've been looking forward to seeing what happens next in Kat's life. Will her friendship with Hale finally turn into something more? I was expecting something a little different and not so personal. Hale is actually the mark in this one and that definitely put a different strain on Kat as she tries to figure out what she will do and how she will fix things.

Such different and fun characters! After a couple of chapters, I thought the bad guy had to be the attorney, but I didn't know for sure. I definitely didn't like his daughter vying for Hale's attention! I also didn't like almost all of Hale's family, so there were a lot of possible villains in this one. I loved each of the characters in Kat's group! Gab, her gorgeous and witty cousin, the Bagshaws, the genius Simon, Uncle Eddie, and her dad. I figured out one other female role too and am proud of it! ;) I didn't figure it out until the train, but still before the end.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, I LOVED this book! I loved how the author only gives you pieces of the plan, so you don't know if everything is going as it should or if it is a complete fail until the end. Then, all the pieces come together and everything is revealed. Great characters, plot, writing, and a little romance definitely sums up my kind of book! If you like clean, fun, contemporary YA with "good" thieves, I highly recommend it!
