So far I've been doing really good. I have three more books to go in two days, so we'll see if I make it.

CHALLENGES

There are a few challenges that I wanted to participate in. The first one is hosted by The Happy Booker and is for an acrostic poem. Here's mine:

Firelight (Firelight, #1)
Flying makes me feel free
In the still and quiet of the night;
Relaxing and soaring with the wind
Everything in me feels right.
Lying below are hunters
Inching their way forward to trap me.
Gathering together as they
Hunt what they do not understand:
The Draki.

The other challenge I am going to list here is hosted by Melissa's Eclectic Bookshelf. I have to use the below book titles to come up with a creative sentence:

Amber House
The Raven Boys
Ashes
Love Potions
The Devouring
Left in Silence
The Watcher in the Shadows
Halloween Hijinks
Something Wicked This Way Comes
Misery
First Light
Whispers

Here's my sentence (I didn't look at any of them, so hopefully I'm not repeating someone else):

Misery was The Watcher in the Shadows as she was Left in Silence at First Light.

If you're a part of this read-a-thon, how are you doing? If not, what are you reading right now?

For those of you looking out for my owl sightings, here is the zombie owl for 10/19:
