Summary

Young Samuel and little Mary are intrigued by the man called John the Baptist, but they can't take the chance of staying in one place long enough to listen to his message. On the run from Roman soldiers, the brother and sister must do whatever it takes to survive. But when they meet a kind woman at a well, she introduces them to her son, Jesus—and their meeting forever changes the children's lives.

My Review

COME UNTO ME was a touching film about the Savior, Jesus Christ, his mother, John the Baptist, and two children who have lost their parents. It was interesting to see the emotions come across from Mary and Jesus and their relationship. Sometimes the scriptures can lack emotion unless read thinking about the actual experiences and how the people would feel. This film brought the scriptures alive, especially to my children. A short and beautiful message for this Easter season.
