My Review

FROM CAIRO, WITH LOVE is one of those romances that is perfectly balanced and delightful from beginning to end! You have a slightly unconventional and spunky heroine, a dashing while also rough around the edges hero, some side characters to liven things up, a slightly underlying suspense plot that gives an edge of danger, some sarcasm and humor, and romance that is definitely swoon-worthy. What more could a romance reader ask for? Highly recommended!

I loved this story! I loved the characters in all their fumbles and bravery. I loved the meaningful looks, the chemistry that rolled off the pages, the half hilarious situation they find themselves in, and the way the story builds to a romantic and dangerous climax. It had everything I enjoy in a romance, remained on the clean side with still plenty of sparks, and left me blissfully content.

In the end, was it what I wished for? A resounding yes! It's amazing how well this story was told in so few pages as well. Definitely one I plan on re-reading.

Content: Some innuendo and brief, mild violence, but clean.

Nancy Campbell Allen (N.C. Allen) has a degree in elementary education and has been writing for fun since the third grade. Her first book was published in 1999, and she now has eleven books to her credit—four contemporary romance and seven historicals, including the award-winning Civil War series Faith of Our Fathers—and plans to write until the day she dies. She loves to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends. She has completed two half marathons and is trying to talk herself into doing another one. Nancy lives in Ogden, Utah, with her husband and three children, although one recently married, moved out, and brought a son-in-law to the mix. She still maintains that this does not make her old.
