Daily Update

How did you guys do on day four? Did you participate in the challenge today at Author J Lenni Dorner's site? Day five's challenge is here and you can find all the info below.

Today was another busy day and I didn't get a ton of reading in, but I did get some, part of one book while waiting in the car for my son after his swim meet and then starting a book that is for review on Monday.

Here's my punch bowl of books for today's challenge:
Base: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery (this is just a solid classic that has a great mix of sad, happy, romance, and just every day life - a great "base.)
Citrus: This Quiet Sky by Joanne Bischof (this is such a good story that totally made me bawl and is on the shorter side - everything can't end in perfectly tied packages, but this one still ended perfectly)
Sugar: Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson (this is what I turn to when I want to laugh and read something sweet)
Water: #Starstruck by Sariah Wilson (I picked this for water because it isn't too deep, but still is a solid, well-developed story, with a romance I could drink up all day and over and over again)
Spice: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (this is a read with plenty of spice between its darker edge, the crazy plot, and serious danger - it's even got a little spice in the romance department)

DAY 4 - 9/20
Books Read: 6% (~18 pages) of The Colonel and the Bee and 102 pages of Promises and Primroses
Pages Read: 120
Total Books Read: 3
Total Pages Read: 1,029
Finished Books: The Ornament Keeper, Escaping from Houdini and The Leaving Year
