Summary
Christ's Atonement is stronger than storms on the sea--and it's Jesus's gift to you and to me. This reverent, rhyming picture book teaches that the Atonement can help us overcome any challenge we face, whether we've made a bad choice or feel lonely or scared. Help your children learn that when we turn to Jesus Christ, we can do hard things and become our best selves.
My Review
THE ATONEMENT OF JESUS CHRIST IS FOR ME is an adorable picture book with colorful and simple illustrations, and rhyming text that is easy to read. Children will be able to easily understand how Christ's atonement can help them and the blessings it can bring. A sweet Christian book to add to your bookshelves.
I really enjoyed reading through this. It puts the atonement into simple terms and emotions that can be easily understood. It will definitely take place next to our other religious children's books that my kids pull out off and on and will be enjoyed for years to come.
In the end, was it what I wished for? An enjoyable children's book that will bring plenty of smiles, help children understand how Christ's atonement can affect their lives, and open up further discussion as children can learn how to apply the atonement in their lives.

About the Author
Sierra Wilson started talking early and has been a storyteller ever since. She loves to teach and work with children, and this love has shaped her life from working as a junior high English teacher and children's art teacher to serving as a Church children's leader and a mother. She currently lives with her husband and three young children in the wide-open plains of South Texas, where she serves as the Children's Coordinator at her community art center and works as a studio artist and writer.
Corey Egbert has always loved books and art, so when he discovered that he could create both at the same time by being an illustrator, he couldn't have been happier. His illustrations can be seen in the Niuhi Shark Saga books and the album covers of recording artist Rob Taylor. He is the illustrator of The Holy Ghost Is Like a Blanket and Stars, Stockings, and Shepherds and various other children's books from Cedar Fort Publishing.
