Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, as well as to Tynga's Reviews for Stacking the Shelves and Talk Supe for Bought, Borrowed, and Bagged showcasing the books I added to my shelves or Kindle this week.
So, I'm an Olympic junkie. I LOVE them, love them. I've had them on almost constantly the past two weeks and loving almost every minute. I've multi-tasked, of course, so I couldn't watch every second or had to do things while they were on, but it's been great. I love when there is this overall feeling of unity and common goals, even though there have been a few hiccups, shall we say. One of my favorite moments was Michael Phelps winning the 200m backstroke. Just amazing. And Usain Bolt winning his races. Wow! Now I have to wait two more years for the winter Olympics, which I also love, although maybe not as much as summer. How about you? Did you catch any of the events?
Now onto freedom... My house has been so quiet during school hours with my youngest now off to school. It's taken me over a week to adjust. Last week I had a moment where it really hit and I wanted to shout: "I'm free!" Lol! I actually love my kids and miss them during the school season, especially the youngest, but the flip side is how I can get so much done and go anywhere without kids or having to get a sitter. It's a rather new experience for me as it's been 12 years since I was able to do that. I've been decluttering all over and plan on continuing until our house is all cleaned out. It feels amazing to clean and get rid of things and actually accomplish so much! I do have to be careful I don't get stuck on the phone or online as the time does tend to slip by somehow. It's a new stage of life.
And yeah, so on to books. ;) There's stuff going on this week and here is what that is:
