Top Books Set in Contemporary USA (Top Ten Tuesday)

I'm participating in Top Ten Tuesday today, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Here's today's topic: Top Books Set in Contemporary USA

I chose this setting (we got to choose) because 1) one of the recent TTT topics was for books set outside the US, 2) I was going to choose fantasy and then thought I'd save that for an upcoming topic, 3) I do love books set in current day USA, and 4) I can pull from all the genres I love (YA, Christian, LDS, and Adult). I also couldn't quite limit it to ten and even then, there are so many that could be on this list! I'm going back in the archives for almost all of these. So here goes, in no particular order:

Adult: For those of you who like fun, clean, and sweet romance with a little suspense and some Austen influence, MIDNIGHT IN AUSTENLAND is one of my favorites and is influenced by Austen's Northanger Abbey. For those who like your romance more on the hot side (this one has mature content), THIS HEART OF MINE is one of my favorites as is this entire series.

LDS: Both of these are fabulous reads! COUNTING STARS is more on the serious side and NOT MY TYPE is more on the comical and sweet side. Both have swoon-worthy moments.
Young Adult: YA is known for some great contemporary settings. These are all books I would or have re-read and loved: PERFECT SCOUNDRELS, ON THE FENCE, WISH YOU WERE ITALIAN, and THE STATISTICAL PROBABILITY OF LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT.
Christian Adult: MEANT TO BE MINE, THE DANDELION FIELD, and IT HAD TO BE YOU are all fantastic, inspiring, swoon-worthy, fun reads that I would or have also re-read.

Christian YA: THERE YOU'LL FIND ME is such a fabulous read!! If you enjoy YA even if you don't normally read inspirational, I highly recommend this one!

How about you? Let me know the books that would make your list?
