I can't wait for... Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Illustrated Version by J.K. Rowling (Can't-Wait Wednesday/Waiting on Wednesday)

Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they're books that have yet to be released. It's based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. If you're continuing with WOW, feel free to link those up as well! Find out more here.

I have to admit... I have an addiction. It's terrible, I know. You probably already know that I am addicted to reading. If that wasn't bad enough, I'm also addicted to the illustrated versions of Harry Potter. They are each a treasure trove of amazing and fun illustrations and I love them! I realized about a month ago that HP is not going to be the only books of hers to be illustrated and that is what I can't wait to share with you (for those who already don't know) and I can't wait for my copy to arrive in about a week...

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Illustrated Version
by J.K. Rowling
Middle Grade Fantasy, Urban Fantasy
Hardcover, 160 Pages
November 7th 2017 by Arthur A. Levine Books

Summary

An essential companion to the Harry Potter novels, now fully illustrated!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Newt Scamander's classic compendium of magical creatures, has delighted generations of wizarding readers. With this beautiful, large-scale new edition illustrated in full color, Muggles too will have the chance to discover where the Runespoor lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why shiny objects should always be kept away from the Niffler.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Comic Relief and J.K. Rowling's international charity, Lumos, which will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, one can only hope that passing wizards feel more charitable if they see you being attacked by a Manticore.
