My Review

As the book cover states, IT'S ALL ABOUT CHRISTMAS is a "collection of stories, carols, recipes, quotes, trivia, history, and everything you need to celebrate the spirit of the season." The book is chalk full of such things. Lots of traditional stories as well as some more recent additions. What I loved was the look and feel of the book. It's a larger book and heavier than most. It has a beautiful, classic cover that would look great on a coffee table, but also grabbed the attention of my kids. The illustrations inside also look traditional and classic.

What I loved even more was the actual collection. We loved opening this book up, reading the poems and stories, singing the songs, finding the history and meanings behind many Christmas symbols, and finding other treasures. There are some traditional poems and stories that my kids haven't been exposed to and this was a great way to help them become familiar with them. This is one book that our family will continue to enjoy for the rest of the Christmas season and each following year. It would also make a lovely gift.
