I didn't get as much reading done as I wanted to this last week, but I have been enjoying what I've been reading, which is always a plus. Hopefully this week I'll get more reading in and get ahead so I'll be ready to host my annual read-a-thon (more details below) in a month.
Friday night I went a my book club's movie night to watch The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society on Netflix. I've read the book twice and have been excited to see the movie adaptation. It definitely didn't completely follow the book, not that I was expecting it to, but it did follow it overall. There are some characters missing, timetables changed, and some characters more prevalent than in the book. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I just wish I could find a US copy to buy. They really need to release it in the US. Have you seen it?
