We always spend a portion of the day with our small little family and then with extended family. This year we have my parents staying with us as well (they came into town last weekend and won't leave to go back home until Monday). We also have my sister and her family here from out of town and have been soaking up as much time with them as possible while we can. My husband then has his brother and their family visiting from out of town and will be spending some time with them as well. Lots of fun family time.
Every Christmas Eve we take time to read the story of Christ's birth from the Bible, sharing testimony of Him, and sharing what we're all grateful for. In a world that has become so commercialized, it's nice to spend some quiet and meaningful time with family and remember why we celebrate the holiday.
