My Review

I signed up to review this one because I thought I would have a fun time with the kids seeking and finding with this book. I was right. The kids basically grabbed it out of my hands as soon as it came in the mail and then sat for some time trying to find all the different things. It is definitely slated for older children as my youngest didn't have any pictures to use as a reference. It was also challenging enough with a few items in each section that took a little bit more time to find, even for me. I would recommend it for children six and up, through teens. It could easily work as a quiet book, although fairly large in size, about 8 1/2" x 11" (about the size of a piece of paper). I really liked the drawings. It's definitely a book we'll take out once in a while and all look at together.

  3. I don't usually enjoy wartime books. I get bored and can't visualize a lot of events. At least you still managed to enjoy this :)

  4. Not so sure about the font choice, but other than that.... I LOVE it. It really is subtly beautiful. This series sounds awesome. I have the first book. Now I need to read it, in anticipation of this one!

  5. Oh, this sounds like something I'd enjoy. I read a lot of historical fiction but I tend to stick to older eras. I should try some more modern stories. Thanks for the review! I'm adding it to my TBR piles. :)
