Now that Nathan Williamson knows that he wasn't born to the family that raised him, he needs to know more about them. Namely, did they arrange for him to be stolen from her birth family just days after birth? Soon, Nathan's uncovering secrets and falling in love with a woman with secrets of her own.

Excerpt from Heart of a Hero

“You probably know my aunt.”  Shainey snipped something with a pair of tiny scissors, and Nathan got his first look at his red, swollen palm, now with black thread criss-crossing.
“That’s all,” she said.  “No amputation today.”
He shot her a ha-ha look before hopping down from the exam table and asking, “Is your aunt Agatha?”
“Yes, she was the librarian here for years.  I’m staying with her.”
Nathan nodded.  He knew Agatha.  Back when he was a cop in nearby Adobe Hills, Arizona, he’d occasionally called her needing information.  She knew everyone.
Maybe she knew how he’d come to grow up in Adobe Hills.
How he’d wound up the son of Robert and Evelyn Williamson.
Both deceased so he couldn’t ask them how they’d come in possession of a stolen baby.

Pamela Tracy is a USA Today award-winning author who has written contemporary, historical and suspenseful - all in the romance genre. Her 2007 suspense Pursuit of Justice was a Rita finalist. Her 2009 suspense Broken Lullaby won the American Christian Fiction Writers' Book of the year award.
