– Cree Cicchino! She’s adorable in Game Shakers, and that’s the sort of energy I’d like Haidee to have in particular.

– Madison Hu! I really like how she can play confident characters, and I think she has the skills to play my gruff, I-don’t-trust-anyone-also-I-have-some-trauma Lan!

Odessa

– since Odessa is Haidee’s twin sister – Cree Cicchino again, but this time with shorter hair! I think the slightly shyer, less confident Odessa is also something she can pull off – I’d like to see someone who can be vulnerable play the role, and Cree looks perfect for the part!

Arjun

- This one stumped me for a bit, and I had to turn to Bollywood for my aesthetic needs very early on when I was thinking about casts for Arjun. Luckily, the perpetually frowning Aryan Khan (son of very popular actor Sha Rukh Khan) seems to channel Arjun’s semi-grouchy personality fairly well!

About the Author

Despite an unsettling resemblance to Japanese revenants, Rin always maintains her sense of hummus. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, she keeps four pets: a dog, two birds, and a husband. Dances like the neighbors are watching.

She is represented by Rebecca Podos of the Helen Rees Agency. She is also fond of speaking in the third person, and may as well finish this short bio in this manner.
