Summer Reading

So, I have a million books to read. I thought I'd take a look at some upcoming releases since I just posted about my summer reads for Top Ten Tuesday and I also just posted about a summer reading challenge I just joined. I'm planning on mostly not doing any tours in August or September so that I can get books read. There are so many that I'm looking forward to reading and I want to get to them!

This is going to be a long list and these are all books that aren't scheduled for tours and such. I will add some books as well as the summer progresses and link up reviews to each cover as they're posted. So, here goes (in no particular order):

Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3) On the Fence Dark Metropolis (Dark Metropolis, #1) The Girl Who Never Was (Otherworld, #1)
Stuck Together (Trouble in Texas, #3) Midnight Thief (Midnight Thief, #1) Full Steam Ahead The Kiss of Deception (The Remnant Chronicles #1)
Dissonance (Dissonance, #1) Through to You Anatomy of a Misfit The Jewel
Blackbird (Blackbird Duology, #1) Rites of Passage Six Feet Over It Just Like the MoviesOtherbound

How about you? What books are you looking forward to being released this summer?

  1. Nice list! I have a tentative summer reading list as well, I'm going to try and tackle a couple of bigger books, like The Forgotten Garden :)

  2. Great list! I signed up for this challenge, but then had to step down due to over-scheduling myself (which seems to be a bad habit of mine, lol). I'll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines though!

  5. I have been really close to crossing that line - over-scheduling myself. I've found that it's fairly easy to do. At first I didn't that they had to be released before June 1st, so we'll see. My goad is to start keeping up with what's just about to be released instead of trying to play catch-up right now and then as I keep up with new releases to go back and get to older ones.

  8. Oh, I'll be lucky if I get through all of these. I do listen to books a ton (listening to one right now), including ARC's. I also stay up late a lot, like until 1 am, and I'm a fast reader. Normally if I start a book after the kids are in bed I can have it finished before I go to bed. I rarely skim and that would only be when I don't like a book.

  9. You're right, there are so many great books coming out this summer! When I look at my Goodreads shelves (I have them by month of releases that I plan on reading) I get so happy (and a little overwhelmed). On the Fence, Ruin and Rising, Midnight Thief…so excited! ~Pam

  10. Me too!!! I need to organize by months. I didn't used to need to do that, but I have too many now and I need that extra category. Another thing to add to my list. ;)
