My Review

This was such a cute book! It was snarky and fun and sweet. I loved Raven and Edgar! I also really liked Amy and Charming (or Eric). I liked how they worked against each other and together... Yes, I know that's a little contradictory, but it is also the truth. I also really liked how Raven found out that being evil isn't all that it's cracked up to be. She had the most development in this story, but she also wasn't the only one since Charming also learned some things too.

There was craziness and mayhem and I loved it! I did get a little lost in a few spots and wasn't always able to picture everything in proportion as far as characters and what was going on. That would be by only real negative thing. I wanted the action and the other side-characters to be clearer. There were corny moments, of course, but also these sweet moments of friendship. I liked that there wasn't one hero and that there wasn't romance, more of just the hint of it.

The Rebel Princess was written so well for this age group. Such fun and sweetness that I can recommend to my daughter and nieces for some very entertaining reading. I'm looking forward to seeing what the author writes next!
