Weekly Update #153 & Happy Valentine's Day!

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, as well as to Tynga's Reviews for Stacking the Shelves and Talk Supe for Bought, Borrowed, and Bagged showcasing the books I added to my shelves or Kindle this week.

We saw The Martian over the weekend from Redbox. I really enjoyed it. If it would have had no swearing and one scene slightly cropped then it would have been a good movie to watch and discuss with the kids. We have quite a few movies to catch up on and I'm looking forward to it!
So my husband and I actually don't do gifts on Valentine's Day. We just try to spend some extra quality time and we always have chocolate fondue with yummy things to dip. This year we have fresh bananas, strawberries, and pineapple, along with Oreos and Nilla Wafers. We'll be dipping into half white and half dark chocolate. Mmmm. :) If you have a significant other or not, I hope it's still a good day for you!

I posted the sign-up for the giveaway hop I host (2nd annual) for Children's Book Week in May. I'd love to have any of you bloggers or authors join! I took off the requirement for a family-friendly blog since I don't want to exclude anyone. Click on the banner to take you to the sign-up:

Here's what to expect...

These are the books you'll be seeing this week (along with four cover reveals - it's like they're in season or something):
Not Always Happenstance (Power of the Matchmaker) If I Run
The Spider and the Sparrow Bluescreen (Mirador, #1) Pimpernel

This was a lighter week for books, thank goodness since I've already picked up too many this year! Here they are (linked to Amazon):

EBOOKS (FREE to $0.99 at the time)

EBOOKS (ARCs)
Wild Swans And I Darken (The Darken Trilogy, #1) The Taming Of The Drew Dreaming of Antigone

I'm celebrating my Blogoversary this month, so there's multiple giveaways for that. Check it out:

In case you've missed this (I'll be sharing it through February): Prism Book Tours is looking for reviewers for Alethea Kontis' two newest fairy-tale-inspired books. Her Woodcutter Sisters Series that started these are some of my favorite books. These are a little darker and don't have as much romance. Anyway, you don't have to be a blogger to review - you just have to post a review on Amazon. Check it out if you're interested!

In case you missed any of these...

Are you doing anything special for Valentine's?
