Weekly Update #152 (including a visit from Marissa Meyer to my local bookstore)

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, as well as to Tynga's Reviews for Stacking the Shelves and Talk Supe for Bought, Borrowed, and Bagged showcasing the books I added to my shelves or Kindle this week.

I've been on a roll and am finally getting posts scheduled ahead after getting behind in December. It feels great! We've had great weather (low to mid 70s). We've been hit with a cold bug, which is a little annoying since I just got well. :(

I don't normally comment on things about other bloggers or what's buzzing around the web, but I'm super excited about Marissa Meyer's announcement that I found on Tuesday. Check that out here. She talked a little about it when she visited my local bookstore Friday night. I found out when I went through the signing line that there is going to be a character in the graphic novels with the name of Tressa. How cool is that?!!! This is the second time I've seen Marissa, but the first by herself and it was great! Here are a few pics:

I posted the sign-up for the giveaway hop I host (2nd annual) for Children's Book Week in May. I'd love to have any of you bloggers or authors join! Click on the banner to take you to the sign-up:

I've changed up my format for my Weekly Update a little. You'll continue to see little changes here and there as I finish updating my blog design this month. I've got a schedule this week, as usual, but may add a YA review in here and there. It's a great month for YA! Here's what to expect:

These are the books you'll be seeing this week (along with a few other promos and a cover reveal):
The Express Rider's Lady Keeper of the Stars (Kings Meadow Romance, #3) Escape to Eden
Star Struck Breaking Sky The Memoir of Johnny Devine

This was a lighter week for books, thank goodness since last week was crazy. Here they are (linked to Amazon):

PHYSICAL BOOKS
Stars Above by Marissa Meyer - Purchased

FREE EBOOKS (at the time)

EBOOKS (ARCs)
Defending Taylor Holding Court Her One and Only (Porter Family, #4)
A Worthy Heart (Courage to Dream, #2) Fading Starlight Someone Like You

I'm celebrating my Blogoversary this month, so there's multiple giveaways for that. There's also a giveaway going on right now for a hop. Check them out:
romance is in the air hop 2016

In case you missed this last week (I'll be sharing it through February): Prism Book Tours is looking for reviewers for Alethea Kontis' two newest fairy-tale-inspired books. Her Woodcutter Sisters Series that started these are some of my favorite books. These are a little darker and don't have as much romance. Anyway, you don't have to be a blogger to review - you just have to post a review on Amazon. Check it out if you're interested!

What are you most looking forward this week (it doesn't have to do with my blog or books)?
