Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week!
I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Last week was really busy. Again. I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Really. But I am every time. Go figure. Lol! Anyway, it was busy, but I also felt like I accomplished a lot.
I had a list of must-dos for the tours I run and for my blog and I got all of them done. Yay! I didn't get the extra things done (like I still need to read and review Zombie Abbey and get more ahead on tours), but it felt great to actually be active on Instagram and promoting things and liking posts there and elsewhere. I also responded to all my comments and checked out everyone's Can't-Wait Wednesday posts. It's been hard to do that each week and I always want to, but it takes time. I was so pleased that I got to them all. :D
I've also had a goal of having more YA on the blog since last year there was so much romance and hardly any YA and I missed so many books that I desperately wanted to read. I'm now back to a more 50/50 ratio between YA and romance, which I'm good with.
And then I also spent quality time with the kiddos and got in three workouts during the week. As I've struggled with weight for years, this is something that I really need to be consistent on. Plus I feel better when I'm exercising regularly.
So, busy, but a good busy overall. :)
And since you're stopping by, here are the books you'll be seeing this week...

This Week
Giveaways
I have a monthly giveaway up that is super fun, so check that out:
I am also hosting my first Instagram giveaway, thanks to Simon Teen who is supplying the book, Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi. This book sounds adorbs and I'm very much looking forward to reading it! If you'd like to win a copy and one of those super cool PopSockets, go over to my post here and let me know.
Other Things of Note
Through another blogger I found this post on Darque Dreamer Reads about an author and reader community for new authors, indie authors, etc. It's not always easy finding good Indie books. They seem to be a little hit and miss with me, but I also believe in supporting these authors. You do have to fill out a fairly detailed form to join, but if you're interested, definitely check it out. You can find me here. The image below is linked to the main page:
