Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week. I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I'm finally mostly caught up. Yay! I have a bunch of giveaways to draw winners for and mail books for and I'll be doing that this week, so check your inboxes/mailboxes! Here's what to expect this week:
I'll be posting a review of A Heart Revealed by Josi S. Kilpack. I've enjoyed all of her books that I've read and loved this one. I'm looking forward to sharing my review!
I'll be a tour stop for The Truth About Us by Janet Gurtler. This is a book I've really been looking forward to.
I'll be tour stop for Failsafe by Traci Hunter Abramson. She is one of my favorite authors and I've read almost all of her LDS romantic suspense books. I'm really looking forward to this newest one!!
I will be a tour stop for The Magical Slow Cooker by Sarah Olson. Let me tell you, my mouth was watering just looking through this. We're having the recipe on the cover for Sunday dinner and I'm really looking forward to it. Yum! :)
I wasn't going to post an STS/BBB, but I ended up putting one up late HERE, linking to Tynga's Reviews and Talk Supe.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the Magical Slowcooker sounds like a great book!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Tressa!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I hope it's okay. Can you mention BB&B too since you're linked up to me as well? Thanks again!
Who does tours for cookbooks? That's a tour co. I could be interested in! Mexican food is my favorite! My post is here: http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/2015/04/payback.html
ReplyDeleteThe Magical Slowcooker looks interesting. I've been wanting to use mine more so I'm definitely intrigued! I love the cover for The Heart Revealed. It definitely makes me want to know more about the book. Have a great week!

Wow, that Slow Cooker Cookbook looks amazing. Are some of the recipes easily downsize-able? With only two in our household I never want to cook TOO much food.

Second Run Reviews
Can't wait to read your review on the Magical Slow Cooker. I'm always looking for new recipes to try. Hopefully tonight's dinner goes well and you have a lot of good things to say about it. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I am looking forward to your recipe book reviews. :)

Week in Review
Thanks, Megan!
ReplyDeleteLol! Thanks for the compliment! :)
ReplyDeleteMy family devoured the roasted chicken we had today. I'm looking forward to more yummy recipes to share. :)
ReplyDeleteI do when I share books I've gotten, which I skipped last night when I was getting this post up. I've been so bad with not adding them every week! Thanks for stopping by and you have a great week too!
ReplyDeleteThe cookbooks I promote are generally through Cedar Fort. They have an array of tours, some religious, but most not. They're blog is here and I know they have some more cookbook tours coming up. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cover for that book as well! The dress and the hair and the colors... I'm loving The Magical Slow Cooker so far. :)
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is a week full of variety, that's for sure. :) I'll be over, Laura...
ReplyDeleteThe recipes are actually, and some of them are for four servings so you could cook once for two nights and still have fabulous food, or freeze leftovers and then grab as needed. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was super yummy and I was sad that there wasn't enough for another meal. Lol! That's what happens when it's good, right? Everyone eats it right up. :)
ReplyDeleteSo far, so good. Like these pumpkin/cashew chocolate cups that are "healthy," but to die for. The chicken also turned out fabulously from today's dinner and was so simple and easy. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to check out the Slow Cooker review! I love my slow cooker, so nice to use. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Sunday Post
I'll definitely keep an eye out for your review and maybe look for the cookbook at the library.
