We took some pictures of the kids all dressed up earlier this morning. They looked so cute, especially my youngest who is almost three. We don't do the Easter Bunny, but we do attend church, the kids get a basket or bag, and we talk about what Easter celebrates. We also normally do an egg hunt with one side of the family, or the other, or both. Do you have any fun Easter traditions?

Happy Easter! I love the reminder that Easter brings, and the sense of peace and hope that I feel today. The only tradition that we have is church and family, and when there are little ones around, Easter egg hunts. You know what, that is all the tradition that I need! Thanks for posting about Easter! God sure is good, isn't He?!

Happy Easter!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!! I get together with my extended family and party. Holidays are always fun :)
ReplyDeleteMy family never did the Easter bunny either however like you, mom would dress us up for church, and we'd always have hats and cute hair. We've got the pics to prove it. ;) We enjoy quiet holidays; this year we celebrated with extended family (aunt, uncle, cousins) on Palm Sunday so on Easter after church, we were just home enjoying a relaxing day. Glad you had a nice day, Tressa - happy (belated) Easter! :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice day and I got a nap in. :D
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with that. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ali!
ReplyDeleteYes they are!
ReplyDeleteI like quiet holidays too. We love finding those special moments with our kids that seem to get skipped when we're with a bunch of people or super busy. It was nice to have some down time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! My kids ave outgrown the bunny, but we still try to make it a special day.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
