Summary
Heartbroken but more determined than ever after a tense showdown in the woods, sixteen-year-old Tess once again returns to the safety of her community of Isolationists. Bolstered by new alliances and desperate to protect those she loves, this time she knows she can return stronger and more powerful than ever to take back what is hers.
As she trains in combat and grows more confident, Tess receives beautiful letters penned by her forbidden love, the chosen one James, from his prison in Templeton. He is now serving as a bodyguard to the creators—the team of scientists who created artificial life in the first place. And what he has discovered about the true origin of the illness that halted natural life could change everything. Enemy will become ally and death will bring new hope in this stunning conclusion to Tiffany Truitt’s epic Lost Souls trilogy.

Will you be grabbing either of these titles?
I love the cover on the Truitt book!
ReplyDeleteLovely covers!
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I have seen the stock image used for The Rising King on a lot of other books. It's funny how that happens so much.
I want them both! And TADA, I like both of the covers. I love Tiffany Truitt and I just have this feeling that Shea Berkley will be loved too! I mean, that book sounds goood!
ReplyDeleteThe covers are awesome :) These are two authors I have not heard of until now :). Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThese books look awesome! I like The Rising King cover!
ReplyDeleteWill you be reading any of these books Tressa?
ReplyDeleteMe too! I love the "C" in Creators.
ReplyDeleteIt is. I didn't realize how much that happened until the beginning of this year when I started noticing those a lot more and the same models being used a lot more. I also had a good discussion about covers - using stock or hiring models - with Melissa Wright that was really interesting.
ReplyDeleteThey do both sound good!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'll get to The Rising King, but I'm planning on eventually reading The Lost Souls series.
