Summary
After years of pinching pennies and struggling to get through art school, Emma Makie’s hard work finally pays off with the offer of a dream job. But when tragedy strikes, she has no choice but to make a cross-country move to Colorado Springs to take temporary custody of her two nieces. She has no money, no job prospects, and no idea how to be a mother to two little girls, but she isn’t about to let that stop her. Nor is she about to accept the help of Kevin Grantham, her handsome new neighbor, who seems to think she’s incapable of doing anything on her own.
Fun, compelling, and romantic, Prejudice Meets Pride is the story of a guy who thinks he has it all figured out and a girl who isn't afraid to show him that he doesn't. It’s about learning what it means to trust, figuring out how to give and to take, and realizing that not everyone gets to pick the person they fall in love with. Sometimes, love picks them.

Looks like you have a great week planned!
ReplyDeleteI need to pick this one up!
ReplyDeleteWow, busy week ahead for you! Excited to read your review of The Orchard-love the cover of this one.
ReplyDeleteThis book looks great and I love the cover! Thanks for the chance to enter :)
ReplyDeleteFun week ahead! I want to read Rebel Belles. How are you enjoying Exile by Kevin Emerson? He's the author that wrote Lost Code/Dark Shore, so I'll probably snag Exile too.
ReplyDeleteAw, what cute covers! Really like how they match and the titles are great, too. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great week! Cannot wait to read your reviews for Open Road Summer, Blonde Ops and of course Meant to Be Mine. Go you for planning / reading / reviewing all of these. I'm WAY behind right now. *sigh* :)
ReplyDeleteHoly busy schedule Batman! I think you might be Superwoman. I am overwhelmed when I look at my calendar and realize that most of them are just book blast and not even reviews.. I haven't even been able to read for the last 4 days....You amaze me! Seriously. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good one :) Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteHonestly, Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books, so when I read the synopsis for this one, I got very excited. It's going to be a good one!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of books! :) Good luck. I have to laugh when I listen to the robot voice on my kindle also--it just can't seem to get things right! Also, I see some Whitney award winners in your pile of TBR. Sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for the tour! These are my kinds of books!! :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it super cute?! :) I'm planning on loving it, so hopefully I will when I read it.
ReplyDeleteI think it just looks cute and fun. I can only take so many deep and death and destruction books. I need lots of happy and sweet too. :)
ReplyDeleteIt does and hopefully it will be...
ReplyDeleteMe too!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been super busy so far!
ReplyDeleteIt was a really cute book and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Review to come...
ReplyDeleteI just saw him tonight, Dena, and oh my goodness it was great! He was funny and he strummed his guitar and sang two songs from the book. I now wish I would have grabbed an extra of Exile to give away, but I have to limit myself somewhere. I haven't finished it yet, but I'll let you know. So far, so good.
ReplyDeleteI am just keeping a few days ahead with my must-read books. We'll see if I get my want-to-read books in.
ReplyDeleteI have stints of reading and not reading as much. I've really been pushing because I have so many ARCs I need to read and then I was crazy and signed up for a bazillion things in May. All those mini-reviews are books I already read though and haven't gotten reviews up for.
ReplyDeleteIt cracks me up too. That stack of books for mini-reviews are mostly what I read to judge for the Whitney's and I was trying to get them all read, so now I need to write up reviews for them.
