My Review

This is probably one of my favorite albums from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It was absolutely fabulous! I just loved it!

My only wish was that it was longer. However, because it is a shorter album, it is perfect for Easter gifts and very affordable. There are six songs on the album. They are:

  1. Christ the Lord Is Risen Today
  2. In the Garden
  3. When I Survey the Wondrous Cross
  4. Jesus Has Risen
  5. He Is Risen
  6. Worthy Is the lamb That Was Slain (from Messiah)

I have been playing the album at home and in the car. I just love the peace and majesty that the songs evoke, especially at this time of year. It definitely brings in the spirit of Easter.

As all of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's music and albums, the quality of sound and talent are fabulous. They do a wonderful job of blending as a choir, which can actually be difficult when you have so many strong individuals all singing together. The orchestrated music is also high in quality.

I would definitely recommend He Is Risen to all Christians who enjoy listening to inspirational music. This album is just so beautiful!

  1. I do enjoy adult romance plus the only rockers I seem to love are those I find in between the pages of a book, so I'll definitely check this book out.
