It's not like I need more challenges to join. Really. However, I do have a long list of sequels I've been meaning and trying to read and just haven't gotten to them and I'm still dying to find out what happens next and how they end. I also joined the 2014 Series Challenge and haven't met my goal yet for that. So, I really need to join this challenge!!
The September is for Sequels challenge is hosted by Lisa Loves Literature and runs for the entire month of September. (You can sign up here.) I like that I only have to read a minimum of four books to participate, so at least one per week. Easy, peasy.
UPDATE: These are the books I've read so far (I will link the covers to their reviews when they've posted):
My goal is to read at least four books, although really I'm hoping to get eight in there. Here are all the books I'll be choosing from (I may add others) because they are all series sequels that I need to read, but I definitely won't get them all read:
Now I have a couple of weeks to get ahead on other reading so that hopefully I can get a lot of these read in September for the challenge. I'll be hosting the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon as well, so hopefully September will be a huge reading month for me! Wish me luck! :)
How's City of Heavenly Fire?I haven't read the book, since I lost touch with the series, but I've heard that it's really amazing.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!Happy Reading.
Can I just tell you how much I love your header? I am a huge owl fanatic.. Aren't Cassandra's book great. I love reading them. Good Luck with your reading
ReplyDeleteIt was good. Probably one of my favorites of the series. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't even remember why I went with the owl and the idea for the design except that I had a clip art/graphic artist over on Etsy () do it for me. She's been great to work with!
ReplyDeleteCassandra's books are definitely well-written with great characters. I like her other series better, but I've enjoyed this one as well.
