Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week. I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
This upcoming week ends August and begins September, which means the September is for Sequels challenge begins and in one week the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon. I'm looking forward to them both! Here's what to expect this week:
I'll be reviewing The Story Keeper by Lisa Wingate. I began this one with no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. I'll also be hosting a giveaway as part of the September Sequels Giveaway Hop. So stop on by for that. I'm also really excited to be spotlighting In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken, the final book in The Darkest Minds series, which comes out on October 28th. I can't wait!!! Definitely stop by to enter the giveaway!

These two summer reading challenges are coming to a close. See how well I did.
I'm hoping to continue reading a few more wedding or romance-themed books (I've read two so far) for this readalong and giveaway that you guys should all check out, if you haven't already:
You should definitely check out the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon! There is an initial schedule up now with some participating authors. It's going to be a blast with challenges, giveaways, and hopefully lots of reading!
Looking forward to your review of Illusions of Fate. I recently finished it, and LOVED it. Getting ready to start Midnight Thief, too! You have some great reads coming up. Hope you enjoy them. And happy Labor Day!
ReplyDeleteBoth were really good. I'm excited to post reviews for them! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some great stuff going on. You had me at the owls really, my favorite! I am not nearly so organized. I really don't know what I will be posting this coming week unless it is a blog tour, I read whatever I am in the mood for.
ReplyDeleteI have a book review round up I am starting. I would love for you to participate. It should be beneficial to everyone involved. I welcome your feedback on it as well. http://readthis.us
Thanks! Owls just fit when I started my blog. :) I used to already have everything read ahead and new what I would be posting or just had Thursdays as my review day. Now I'm a little all over the place with promotions and whatnot, but I'll be eventually going back to a simpler schedule, less tours, and more reading whatever I feel like. :)
ReplyDeleteI have the Harkness series on my TBR. Can't wait to read them. All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes looks fun too. Great stuff coming up this week! Hope you had a nice holiday.
ReplyDeleteTressa I bow to your awesomeness! One day I will get as many books done in a week as you can.....Okay probably not, but I will keep trying :). I cannot wait to hear what you think about Midnight Thief!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good, relaxing day. We were supposed to be out of town, but that feel through, so we played with the kids and had my parents over for dinner. I hope yours was good too!
ReplyDeleteI really like Harkness's characters and writing style. There is mature content, just so you know, but it isn't overdone like so many are. Should be a good week!
Lol! What? You want to be sleep deprived too? ;) Midnight Thief was really good. I think you'd really like that one.
ReplyDeleteThe Midnight Thief looks good (like that cover a lot), and nice review of Dark Triumph too. I liked Grave Mercy a lot but still haven't read the sequel for some reason... curious to see what Sybella's story is like.
ReplyDeleteDark Triumph - It was good. Darker. More violent. The Midnight Thief was really good. I'm looking forward to sharing my review.
