Here's my WOW pick for this week:

(The Raven Cycle #3)
by Maggie Stiefvater
YA Urban Fantasy, Paranormal
October 21st 2014 by Scholastic Press

Summary
The third installment in the mesmerizing series from the irrepressible, #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater.
There is danger in dreaming. But there is even more danger in waking up.
Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.
The trick with found things though, is how easily they can be lost.
Friends can betray.
Mothers can disappear.
Visions can mislead.
Certainties can unravel.

This series! It isn't as clean as I normally like, but the characters and writing and emotion... Just so well written!!! Is this one on your can't-wait-to-read list?

You're doing good! I'm getting close to finishing Midnight Riot (hopefully one more hour and it should be done), and then I'm moving onto How I Live Now. This one is a smaller book, so my goal is to get that completed by tonight :)
ReplyDeleteI love this series!! I can't wait to read the book, I hope it's awesome! Great pick!
ReplyDeleteGreat pick, I also cannot wait for this one! Love this series!!

ReplyDeleteJenea @ Books Live Forever's WoW
I haven't read the first two books in this series, but I have been undecided about reading them since Raven Boys first came out. If this is the last book, I might read the whole series in one go when it's released.

Yay! It's always nice to find others who love what I love too. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's just a good writer with her descriptions and characterizations.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jenea! I'll come check yours out.
ReplyDeleteI think it's worth the read if you like YA and don't mind the swearing. She's just really good in pulling readers into her stories and the characters' lives.
ReplyDeleteCity of Heavenly Fire was over 700 pages! I was thinking how I could have finished two books instead of reading it, but it had to be back to the library and I really couldn't put it down, so there you go. :) I hope you get it finished!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Veronica! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this one too. Love Maggie's books. <3
ReplyDeleteLook at that amazing cover! Man, it is beautiful! I cannot wait for this book!!!
ReplyDeleteI think this was my choice last time I did a WOW. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my WOW
I can't believe I haven't begun this series yet. LOVE this cover!!
ReplyDeleteHer books do tend to just suck you right in. :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fabulous??!!! I love how artsy it is, which really fits the author.
ReplyDeleteSo glad I'm not alone in that. ;)
ReplyDeleteI really, really have been enjoying it. It is rather bittersweet and there is quite a bit of language, but the characters and plot are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this! I adored The Raven Boys. I love Ronan, but The Dream Thieves was a bit of a disappointment for me. I hope this one is better.
ReplyDeleteMy WoW
This looks like a good one! I have seen your reviews and posts for the other books :)
ReplyDeleteI still haven't read The Dream Thieves, if you can believe it! I need to get to it and I'm planning on it in September. :)
ReplyDeleteI really loved the first book, although there is a lot of language and some violence. It was really well written.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this one…how many in this series???? The wait in between books is killing me. All of these series are killing me. Yes, it's a love/hate relationship. :) ~Pam
ReplyDeleteI know there will be four. I was hoping just three because I hate having to wait in-between books as well. I'm hoping it will end there. I totally understand those same feelings. Lol!
