"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Here's my WOW pick for this week:

Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle, #3)Blue Lily, Lily Blue
(The Raven Cycle #3)

Summary

The third installment in the mesmerizing series from the irrepressible, #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater.

There is danger in dreaming. But there is even more danger in waking up.

Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.

The trick with found things though, is how easily they can be lost.

Friends can betray.
Mothers can disappear.
Visions can mislead.
Certainties can unravel.

This series! It isn't as clean as I normally like, but the characters and writing and emotion... Just so well written!!! Is this one on your can't-wait-to-read list?

  1. You're doing good! I'm getting close to finishing Midnight Riot (hopefully one more hour and it should be done), and then I'm moving onto How I Live Now. This one is a smaller book, so my goal is to get that completed by tonight :)

  6. I haven't read the first two books in this series, but I have been undecided about reading them since Raven Boys first came out. If this is the last book, I might read the whole series in one go when it's released.

  10. I think it's worth the read if you like YA and don't mind the swearing. She's just really good in pulling readers into her stories and the characters' lives.

  11. City of Heavenly Fire was over 700 pages! I was thinking how I could have finished two books instead of reading it, but it had to be back to the library and I really couldn't put it down, so there you go. :) I hope you get it finished!

  19. I really, really have been enjoying it. It is rather bittersweet and there is quite a bit of language, but the characters and plot are fabulous!

  20. I can't wait to read this! I adored The Raven Boys. I love Ronan, but The Dream Thieves was a bit of a disappointment for me. I hope this one is better.

  24. I can't wait for this one…how many in this series???? The wait in between books is killing me. All of these series are killing me. Yes, it's a love/hate relationship. :) ~Pam

  25. I know there will be four. I was hoping just three because I hate having to wait in-between books as well. I'm hoping it will end there. I totally understand those same feelings. Lol!
