Welcome to my final update for Bout of Books. You can see my sign-up post with my goals here.
I didn't quite get all the books/pages read that I wanted to, but I still did fairly well. I basically have parts of three books left and then two full ones. I'll be finishing those up this week. My goal was to at least read 1500 pages and I was only short by 263, so not bad.

That was a challenge! Well done and thank you for your posts!
ReplyDeleteThat's really a lot of books. They certainly look good. I still have quite a big TBR pile and the Kindle books, I don't even want to go there! I keep collecting them, thinking one day I will read them all. I hope I live so long !
ReplyDeleteWow -- I often read multiple books at a time, but I haven't done that recently. You did a great job on BoB -- congrats!
ReplyDeleteJen @ YA Romantics
So many great books on your list! Cress was on of my favs of 2014! the only book that I have read on your list too. Most of them are on my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteI participated and my challenge went great. I completed 14 books, and had a good time. Congrats on a successful week! Here's how my Bout of Books 12 ended up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a challenge; it is hard to read many books at once. ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope I can get that many this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun list, Tressa. I loved some of these as well. Most of the Christian fiction books are favorites or ones I really want to read still (*cough* Jenny B. Jones). Then most of those YA books I'm still *dying* to read. Cannot wait to start them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun giveaway. It's a cool idea to offer the winter's pick of your 2014 favorites. Leaves a lot of room for the winner to chose. :)
You read a lot of great looking book, most of which I have never heard of..lol. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLots of reading!! Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteLot of good ones on here. I'll have to grab a few of these. Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the Finishing School series. I'm dying for book four! This last book killed me.
ReplyDeleteSo many good books up there! Since you seem so in tune with my taste, I think I will check out Chasing June.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me, I need to start Dearest. What did you think about it? I loved Hero, particularly Saturday in it.
ReplyDeleteI love reading, it's such a wonderful escape!
ReplyDeleteSo many nice covers!
ReplyDeleteIt was crazy, wasn't it, how much I read? I'm actually hoping to read just as much this year. There were a lot of books that I didn't get to too and so I'm hoping to get to those and read less books that I don't like. Of course, I don't know I won't like them until I read them. Lol! Definitely more DNFs for me though. I've already done that with a few books over the past month or so.
ReplyDeleteI did love Finn too. :) You've got to read On the Fence!! Those brothers and the other characters! Did you read The Distance Between Us? There are a few characters that show up from that, but the book is very different. I really loved that one!
Lol! I know exactly how you feel! It's almost like I need the publishing industry to take a year off so I can read without adding to my pile. :) Except, I love new releases... Oh well.
ReplyDeleteThe longer I've blogged the more I've realized that there are a lot of good books out there and that it's tough to pick which ones I'll get to read because I just can't read them all regardless of how much I want to. I'll come see if you had a favorites' list. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome however many you read. I've figured that I can't compare. I just read as much as I can, which of course means I always want to read more. Lol!
ReplyDeleteHa! You read a ton too. I know there are several books that you loved that are still on my list and I really want to get to. Who needs sleep, right?
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that the collection was diverse enough that whoever wins will find a favorite.
Well, one of my goals as a reader/blogger is to expose readers to different books and not just the main stream ones. There are some great books out there. Sometimes it just can be hard to find them outside the usual places. I hope there's something for everyone in my list. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's a crazy number, honestly. It helps that I read at a good clip. :)
ReplyDeleteHey, Amber! I hope you enjoy the ones that you read!!
ReplyDeleteOh, me too!!! There are so many different directions it could all go in.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it! It's the second in that series, so you might want to try the first book before that one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it?!! :D It's how I wind down at night once the kids are in bed.
ReplyDeleteHey, Holly! There are some nice covers. Glad you stopped by!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jen. I seem to always be reading at least two books at a time or three. One is normally for a tour and then one that's a library book or from my shelves while also reading an ARC. Kind of crazy and probably not always the best, but it seems to work for me. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cali! :)
ReplyDeleteI really, really liked it. I think Enchanted will always be my favorite, but I enjoyed this one too. And Saturday was awesome in Hero. Friday was a more reserved, but also fierce heroine. Maybe steady is the better word for her. I would say her fierceness shows the most at the end and it's a glorious one at that. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some great books listed up there that I would love to read, so thank you for a great giveaway
ReplyDeleteMe too, gotta have em all!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many books on your list that I have on my TBR -- I really need to start marking them off this year - but oh, the list just keeps growing! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
Thanks for stopping by and good luck!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I read a ton last year, but I still have a huge tbr list. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThose are some interesting books. You seem like an avid reader like myself. Would love to win! Would love to read a Beauty so Rare.
ReplyDeleteYeah I did read And loved Distance Between US! It was fab :)
ReplyDeleteYou should love her others then.
ReplyDeleteThat was such a beautiful historical novel! It's a slower-paced book, but I really loved it! Good luck!
