Bout of Books with Goals

Bout of Books

I participated in Bout of Books several months ago and it turned out great. I decided it was worth it to sign up again even though I'm also doing the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge. The difference is that this read-a-thon can include all books, not just ARCs, and only lasts a week. Here are the details and where you can sign up, if you're interested in signing up.
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 10 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

Time Devoted to Reading and Goals

I'm planning on reading every day and hopefully to get a book read each day for a total of seven books. At a minimum I would like to get five books read. I'd also like to stop by at least three other participants' blogs and participate in at least one challenge. We'll see how it goes.

Books to Read

I'll be reading books that are coming up in my schedule, which might be (if I haven't already gotten to them):

Only With You : A Modern Retelling of Emma (The Jane Austen Academy Series, #5) Second Chances 101 (The Ripple Effect Romance Novella Series, #5) Uncovering Cobbogoth (Cobbogoth, #1)
Run Run Runaway (Destiny Bay Romances~Forever Yours~Sweet Edition 1) A Dangerous Madness

Then I'll pick from the ARCs listed for the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge that I haven't already read.

Updates

I don't know that I'll get time to post my updates every day, but I will at least a few of the days. I will update them here:

  8. Squee! Needless to say, reading this review makes me VERY happy. This is one I have anticipated every since seeing the cute cover. And you've piqued my interest about that ending! Glad it sounds like one I'll enjoy. :)

I am participating and this will be my first time so I'm starting with three books and if I get to more, that will be awesome. With work and kids, I usually get about two read per week so I'm trying to push myself a little bit.

  10. Great review! I loved the Gallagher Girls books. Until I read those, I didn't really like spy books. The title for this one is awesome. Blonde Ops. Ha, it makes me smile.
