Weekly Update #84

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week. I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, this week.

Two weeks until Halloween! I can't believe how fast the year is going!!! Here's what you can expect this week:

I'll be participating in the tour for Trust Me, I'm Lying by Susan Elizabeth Summer. Come on by to see what she has to say about her debut book and to enter the giveaway!
Trust Me, I'm Lying

I'll be promoting a new Saints and Soldiers movie: The Void. There will be some movie info and a giveaway, so if you like these type of inspirational movies, stop on by!

I'll be posting for Waiting on Wednesday. There are so many good books coming out! Did you see last week's WOW for Dreamer's Pool?

I'll be a tour stop for Sophia by Paula Kremser. I'm looking forward to sharing this one with you all. It's my type of story. :) There will be a giveaway too!

Friday Favorites will be up again. I'm hoping I'll have a favorite to share this time around. I haven't absolutely loved any of the books I've been reading so hopefully I'll find a favorite. We'll see. I will be a tour stop for Famous in Love by Rebecca Serle.

I may be posting for Stacking the Shelves. Just depends on what I get this coming week. I added too many eARC's to my shelves last week (there were several books I just couldn't pass up) and posted those here. I'm hoping for less books next week since I need to do some catching up.

I'll be reviewing A Refuge from the Storm by Boyd K. Packer. I don't read inspirational nonfiction very often, but this should be a very good book and I'm looking forward to it.

There is the usual Monthly Giveaway for October for a copy of Illusions of Fate by Kiersten White (US only), which I really loved. There is also my giveaway stop for Something Wicked Strikes open internationally and giveaways for Gladys Knight's new album and The Lion House's new cookbook.

I'll be participating in two read-a-thons that book begin this week. First, the Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-Thon will begin on the 17th and run through the 27th. Then Saturday the 18th will be Dewey's Read-a-Thon. Hopefully I'll get a ton read during these!

Did you miss any of these posts from last week?

I'm working on getting these read and reviewed:
Wicked Path (Daath Chronicles, #2) The Caller (Shadowfell, #3) Sublime
The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle, #3) A Christmas to Remember

Then I'll be reading the other books on my currently-reading shelf on Goodreads and/or books from my sequels pile from the library.

What do you have going on this week?

Great recap. I can't join the Dewey read-a-thon this year. I've always wanted to do it but it never was great timing for me... Good luck!

  6. It looks like you have lots of great books to look forward to! I'm trying to cut back on the books coming into my house...and really trying to stay off of NetGalley!!! It isn't going well but at least I am trying, right? :) Have a great week of reading!

  7. Looks like you'll be very busy Tressa. But knowing your reading prowess, you'll finish this all in a breeze. Good luck on the read-a-thons, hopefully I have the time to join Dewey's, I did sign up to be a cheerleader though :)
