Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week. I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, and Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, this week.
November is almost here! Besides ushering in my favorite time of the year, Dena from Batch of Books and I are going to be hosting a read-along for the last two books of the Finishing School Series by Gail Carriger. We both need to read these and decided to read them together. We're inviting anyone else who is interested to join us. We'll have a schedule of how much to read and when to get through both of these in a month. We're planning on having a great time! We'll have more posted soon...
Friday Favorites will be up with my favorite book covers from August and September.
I will be a tour stop for Loving Luciana by Joyce DePastena. Her debut book, Loyalty's Web, is a favorite of mine, so I'm looking forward to this one.
I did get some books this week that I'm very excited about. Here's my physical stack:
Yep. The entire The Heir Chronicles by Cinda Williams Chima, which I'm thrilled about and I got a great deal on the slightly used first three in the series. Then I got DIY Wood Pallet Projects, by Karah Bunde, which is just amazing and fun! I'm hoping to be able to do some of those projects soon.
I grabbed one ebook on sale for $.99 (supposed to be sweet romance and I've heard good things about it):
And these review books from Edelweiss, Kathy over at I Am A Reader, NetGalley, and Anaiah Press:
We're on the second to last day of the Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-Thon. Click on the button below to see my most recent update. I'll be posting a wrap-up on Tuesday.

Looks like you have a big week planned! And it seems like a lot of us were drawn to Anomaly on NetGalley. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteOh nice haul. I cannot wait to read Mortal Heart. Have fun with your read-along.
ReplyDeleteI love the Under the Never Sky series! Shame it's ended now, though. Hope you enjoy your books, have a great week :)

I loved this book too and I couldn't put it down but the ending was well not what I expected but I'm glad that there will be a second book. I didn't even know thanks for the great review.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely great to have a less busy week! You got some great books as well! I'm glad to hear your kids' do origami. Origami and I don't get along but I wish we did. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI really love the cover of this one!
ReplyDeleteI really liked "A Lady at Willowgrove Hall"! Looks like you have another great line up this week! :)
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm impressed that you take the time to make such a great post!

The ending bothered me too until I found out there was a second book. I hope you enjoy reading the next part of the story!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGlad you decided to join anyway. I'll come check out both of those...
ReplyDeleteIt is a great series and completely different from anything else I've read! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I haven't gotten Blue Lily read yet! It's killing me that I have had to put it off. Hopefully this weekend...
ReplyDeleteMortal Heart was really good. It might be my fav of the series. Seriously. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI know. My "less-scheduled" week is still crazy busy. :) 2015 is creeping up. I can feel it. I've had to already calendar some things. Crazy!
ReplyDeleteI do love Rossi's series. Very curious to see what she write next.
ReplyDeleteI hope we both enjoy Anomaly. I wasn't sure about it, but the synopsis sounds good. We'll see...
ReplyDeleteIt was so, so good, Kimba! The read-along should be fun. :)
ReplyDeleteEnding really just means a new beginning though, right? Now she can write another series for us to love. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, you would have laughed when I was trying some of the folds for the Origami!!! So frustrated until I figured it out and then I was like "Duh!" Lol! The kids got a little frustrated too, but it was still fun.
ReplyDeleteIt was good. I like the second book the best, but I'd still re-read this one. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy. I did go a little crazy with it, but it's fun and it helps me map out my week in my head too instead of just looking at my calendar. I appreciate you stopping by!
ReplyDeleteIT' FREAKING ROCKS. I haven't wrote the review, but I finished it yesterday and it was perfection. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, yay! So glad it was good. Hopefully I'll like it just as much. :)
