3rd Annual ARC August

arc august
I know I'm running a read-a-thon in about a month and I'll also be joining the next Bout of Books that begins in a few days, but I really need to gather some extra encouragement for myself to read as many ARCs as I can before the end of the year as I'm behind. August is also unbelievably crazy for me. I signed up to review a ton of books for tours. Quite a few are ARCs, so I'll count those for this challenge, but I'd also like to get a few more.

Thus, I'm joining ARC August hosted by Read. Sleep. Repeat. (Thank you Kimba over at The Caffeinated Book Reviewer for bringing this challenge to my attention!). You can still join here, here are some tips, and this is where you can find the goal post. This is my sign-up, goals, and updates post all in one, so here we go...

UPDATES:

Week 1 (1st - 7th)

Week 2 (8th - 14th)

Week 3 (15th - 21st)
Through Waters Deep

Week 4 (22nd - 28th)
Irish Meadows

Week 5 (29th - 31st)
Counting on a Cowboy

Final count: 5 books. Not terrible, but not close to what I was hoping for. If you participated, how did you do?

GOALS

I already have several ARCs slated for reviews for tours this month, one of which was reviewed last week and one this morning. Here they all are:
Among the Fair Magnolias: Four Southern Love Stories Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Destination Wedding #1) What You Left Behind Irish Meadows (Courage to Dream #1)
The Sea Keeper's Daughters (Carolina #3) Counting on a Cowboy Your Voice Is All I Hear The Shadow Behind the Stars

Then I'd like to read at some additional ARCs besides the ones above. Here are the ones I hope to get to:
Mechanica A Whole New World (A Twisted Tale #1) Hunter (Hunter, #1) Daughter of Deep Silence

Are you participating in this challenge? How is your reading this month going?
