Weekly Update #131

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week! I'm linking up to The Sunday Post, hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, as well as to Tynga's Reviews and Talk Supe for showcasing the books I added to my shelves or Kindle this week.

We've almost gone a week into September! Can you believe it?!! I had a relatively relaxing week last week, which I needed. I didn't get all the reading done that I was supposed to, but I was okay with that. This week is fairly laid-back on the blog too, which is good because the following week my read-a-thon kicks off and I'll be super busy.

I did get to meet Sarah J. Maas last week. It was crazy and I didn't get to take a pic with her, which was a bummer, as was there being no swag. :( I did, however, get some books signed, so there is that. If you want a signed copy of her latest, it's up for grabs in my giveaway for September.

Here's what to expect this week:

HAPPY LABOR DAY (to those who celebrate it)! I actually won't be posting since I'm still playing catch-up and will be with my family for most of the day having fun. I hope you guys all have a great Monday wherever you are and whatever you're doing!! :D

I'll be reviewing The Secrets of Neverak Series by Jacob Gowans for the tour for the Secrets of Neverak, book two in the series. I've heard great things and I love the covers as well as the synopsis, so hopefully I'll love these ones.
Fool and the Dragonox: A Prequel to A Tale of Light and Shadow A Tale of Light and Shadow A Tale of Light and Shadow, Book 2: Secrets of Neverak

As usual, I'll be posting for Waiting on Wednesday. Come see what my pick is for this week.

I'll be a tour stop for Smoked by Mari Mancusi. I'm rarely disappointed by this publisher, so I'm looking forward to sharing about this book along with a tour giveaway!
Smoked (Scorched, #3)

I'll be reviewing Festive Feasts by Jeni Potter Scott. I think I have a food issue. I like it too much. ;) This book has some fun and festive recipes, so this will be a fun post.

I added some books and swag to my shelves this week. Here they are (linked to Goodreads):
