Weekly Update #29

Welcome to my Weekly Update where I post my blog's schedule for the week. Here's what to expect this week:

Beth Fred, the author of A Missing Peace, will be by as I participate in the blog tour for her book. I was so excited to be on this tour because of the premise and because one of the main characters is from Iraq. There just aren't that many books whose characters have different ethnic backgrounds, which is something I would like to see more of. Beth will be talking about this very thing, so come back to see what she says.

I'll be reviewing Double Star, one of Clean Teen Publishing's books. There will be a giveaway as well. This is the first of three books I'll be reviewing of theirs this month.

I will be spotlighting another favorite for Friday Favorites. Did you see last week's post about Suzanne Young? I've seen her in-person twice now. :)

I'll be posting for Stacking the Shelves/Peek Into My Postbox if I have some books to show off. If you missed last week's post, I did have some free Kindle ebooks on there, as usual.

My Monthly Giveaway for September posted yesterday. Have you had a chance to enter? You can win a hardcover of Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini.

If you don't follow me on Facebook or Twitter you might have missed that I reached over 1000 followers for each, which just completely amazes me! There is a giveaway on the top of my Facebook page, or you can use this link, to enter to win a book. This one is open to US and international entrants as long as Amazon or the Book Depository ships to you for free.

Have you signed up for the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon yet? It is shaping up to be a great time! There are only six days left before it begins (Sunday, September 8th), but you can still sign up through September 15th.

I just posted some ebook deals for September. I should have another post up for bargain books at some point as well.

Look for reviews this week for:

I hope you all enjoy a good Labor Day, if you're in the US. I'm happy to have my kids and husband home for the day. Should be a nice, relaxing day. What do you have going on this week?
